Sun May 04, 2008 7:21 am Jobs website: What do you think of Wolley.co.uk |

Hi, I have been working on a communications platform between tradesmen and customers, which doesn't charge money like all the other website. Here a short description of what you could expect. Can you please let me know what you think how to improve it and if it is something you would use?
Wolley Ltd. is a donation based UK Internet Company that operates the Wolley.co.uk. It acts as a service agency where clients describe their service request and tradesmen and other service providers bid for the job. Clients then choose the offer they find most attractive by comparing the price and the ratings of previous jobs of the service providers. The implemented web site concept allows tradesmen to find customers online and turns the traditional way, of the customer finding the tradesman, around. This not only allows new businesses to grow quickly, without any marketing costs, but also makes quality of businesses transparent by the customer ratings.
==History==
Wolley started in 2007 because of what the founders describe a frustration of finding a reliable tradesman. The founder also wanted to get tradesmen to use their spare capacity more efficiently and introduce a more open pricing policy. |
